Logline
Two widows and a widower marry violent men who escape justice, then arrange their deaths. At their latest husband’s wake, suspicious guests, an eager recruit, and a charming new bachelor complicate the mourning.
Brief Summary
Joelle’s husband has assaulted four girls. His mother insists God has forgiven him. Joelle takes comfort in the promise, then claims forgiveness for herself as she delivers a brutal punishment alongside her accomplices, Rufus and Kai.
By daylight, the trio host a tasteful wake. Between appetizers and condolences, a suspicious guest questions their growing collection of dead husbands. Another guest arrives with a recruitment pitch and a list of eligible men with violent histories.
When a charming stranger brings flowers after the reception, Joelle briefly welcomes the possibility of romance. Then he gives his name. He’s on the list.
